The next Muay Thai Tournament is scheduled for tomorrow night, the fighters are ready and the guest fighters from Koh Phangan have arrived already on Koh Tao. Tomorrow night we will also see 4 westerners fighting in the ring of Island Muay Thay in Sairee. This will be a great fight night, so do not miss this one! We will se King Kong  from England, Adam from Scotland, Ting Tong coming also from England and his brother in arms Ting Tong 2 is also an English Muay Thai fighter.We have all seen them training hard during the past weeks, running the streets of Koh Tao in the morning and in the afternoons with a rest stop at the fruit shake store at 7/11 in Sairee… Tomorrow night we will see them in action and I’m looking forward to it.

On the Thai side we will see Petnarin, Petdum, Changsuk, and Mongonthong fighting for the honors of Island Muay Thai Koh Tao. Be there early so you can get the best place to see all the action in the ring. Bring your camera and take picturs you never thought of being possible. Next Muay Thai Tournament in Koh Tao

Three days to go to the next Thai boxing tournaments. If you would like to see the fighters getting ready for the fight night, come and check out the Island Muay Thai training academy in Sairee. We are here every day during the morning and the evening hours. Who knows you might even get attracted to this great martial art! Thanks to the help of Ocean Below Video Productions, we finally managed to upload the videos of the last fight from Steve Grayson against the young and very dynamic “M16″, a young Thai Boxing fighter from Koh Phangan with a great future ahead of him.  The fight took place on December 18th, here at the Boxing Stadium in Sairee. The Next Fight Night is coming up

After almost one month of ‘winter’ rest the date for the next Muay Thai Tournament is set to Thursday 18th of December. Make sure to be there at 9:30pm. Eight exciting Thai Boxing Fights are on the Program on Thursday night. One of the two fights with farang participants will be held by Steve Grayson himself. It will be his first fight after the summer break and we are all eager to see him in the ring again.  Chris Han from Canada will be the second foreign Muay Thai fighter of the tournament.

The next Fight Night is on 22. September

We have another great fight night coming up on Koh Tao.  Don’t miss 8 great Thai boxing fights, including an exciting Womens competition. Our guest star of the evening is Marilyn from Canada. Next Muay Thai Tournament on Koh Tao Coming Soon

Don’t miss out on the next great fight night in the Sairee Thai boxing stadium. On May 16th at 9:30pm we’ll hear the gong for the first out of eight exciting Muay Thai fights. We will also see two European Thai Boxing fighters in action, Bee from Italy and Aleksander from Germany. Bee has been training at the Island Muay Thai Stadium in Koh Tao for more than two years now and we are looking forward to a very exciting fight here.

Fight Night in Trang

Today, on the 25^th of January I’ll be on my way to a place called Trang near Krabi. So will catch the night boat from Koh Tao and travel all the way to the other side of Thailand. I will go to fight at a Thai Boxing Tournament in a small town called Bang Naa. This is the place where my Thai partner, Pi Thun comes from. An old friend of his is holding a Muay Thai Tournament for the local people and asked if we would come to fight. The reason he was asking is that they don’t get any westerners to come fighting there. I feel that I’m well trained and have spent the last two days resting and enjoying a good massage. Tonight I’ll be on a night sleeper boat to Suratthani, the main town of our province, and then we’ll take the bus to Trang. Wish me luck, hopefully it will go ok.
